Seascapes
Nowhere in photography does natures elements impact an image so much, it makes every seascape image different. You have so many factors at play, the ever changing light, tide, waves, seasons and weather all ensuring that nobody will ever take the same image as you. This is one of the things that drew me into starting photography many years ago. Good composition is crucial in seascapes and equally important is good light which is why most photographers shoot at either end of the day in 'the golden hour', personally I find mornings better than evenings as I find the air is cleaner and there are less people. It is also a field of photography that benefits from using neutral density graduated filters to balance the exposure within a scene and polarizing filters to emphasize blues in particular and reduce reflections.
